Our 07:25 wake up call this morning came from Riney. The people installing the temporary tarmac ramp said they had been told to start at 07:30 and that it was OK because this was an emergency. It was an emergency because pedestrians needed a ramp while water works in the tunnel were happening.
They could not explain why it was an emergency at 07:25 this morning rather than over the last few days during which the state of the works has remained unchanged.

Email environmental health and ask them why it was an emergency. It would be they who gave permission.
