Aircraft Noise, e.g helicopters

The CAA say:

"aircraft noise is not classified as a statutory nuisance in the UK; it is not covered by the Environmental Protection Act or the Noise Act, therefore preventing the local authority from being able to act on aircraft noise issues

Responsibility for aviation policy and aircraft noise matters lies with the Department for Transport (DfT) dftcomplaints@dft.gsi.gov.uk ".

If you wish to complain to the CAA anyway, check the CAA web page on noise, and: "If you wish to provide the CAA with feedback about aircraft noise, please complete form FCS1521 - Use of UK Airspace Report."
