New street lights

New Street lights have been installed around the junction of Beech St and Whitecross  St as part of the street scene works.

The light fittings look like they are using LEDs and the poles look much higher than the old street lights.

If you live in the eastern end of Ben Jonson House and you find the new lights are a nuisance (e.g. too bright) contact the City's Environmental health people.
