Dear Residents
You may have received a letter from a company called Riverside (logo attached), who are conducting Water System risk assessments across the Barbican.
Riverside are entering all tank rooms in communal areas as well as 10% of properties in each block which are randomly selected, hence the letters to residents. Access to the selected properties is required, appointments should take 15 - 20 minutes and is a general inspection of pipe runs, hot water cylinders and any cold water storage tanks.
This is a statutory requirements to comply with the Health & Safety Executive's control of legionella in water systems
