From the Barbican Association:
The two main speakers at the Crossrail meeting on 24 September at 6.30 pm in the City of London School for Girls will be:
Bill Tucker, Crossrail Central Area Director, who will talk about the tunnelling in general and communicating with residents about what is going on
Mike Black, Head of Geotechnics for Crossrail, who will talk specifically about settlement, including the assessments, and measures used to control ground movement
Other Crossrail staff will be on hand to help during the question and answer session.
The formal meeting will last about an hour and a half, including questions, and will be followed by time for informal questions over drinks.
