Fire Doors

Steve Murray, Property Services Team Manager, who will be leading the project for redecoration work, is aware of residents unhappiness with the fire doors linked to the previous external redecorations. He will ensure that the specification for the tender incorporates hard wood for any fire doors that require replacement/redecoration. 

A question was also asked about the weather proof finish for the window frames – what is it? With regard to the coating on the external frames, this is Sikkens, and in areas which are particularly exposed, Novotop (a derivative of Sikkens) is used which offers more protection against the weather. Sikkens is Dulex accredited product, as are the paints being used.
